On Sunday, May 19th, George Street Playhouse held our 50th Anniversary Gala Benefit! We had an amazing evening of performances, and shared ways we can build a brighter future for exceptional live theatre in New Brunswick, NJ!

We were especially proud to have honored Merissa Buczny - Executive Director of NBPAC & VP of DEVCO, and The City of New Brunswick, represented by Mayor Jim Cahill and the City Council, as the recipients of the 2024 Thomas H. Kean Arts Advocacy Award.

This evening of celebration plays a significant part in helping to sustain George Street Playhouse as a vital cultural institution in New Brunswick, New Jersey, and nationally.
