George Merrick


George Merrick made his George Street debut in I Love You, You're Perfect, Now Change — reuniting with director David Saint and playwright Joe DiPietro, after appearing in the acclaimed off-Broadway transfer of Clever Little Lies with Marlo Thomas. He was seen on Broadway in Honeymoon in Vegas, South Pacific, and High Fidelity. Recent regional roles include Albert Peterson in Bye Bye, Birdie! at the Goodspeed Opera House, and John Adams in 1776 at the Pittsburgh Public Theatre. On TV, George has appeared on Blue Bloods, The Blacklist, and the upcoming Rise on NBC. His film credits include The Intern with Robert DeNiro and So Good to See You (2016 Sundance selection). George is also a lyricist in the BMI Musical Theater Workshop, and is a Harrington Prize recipient.
