Annie Rutherford Lutz is the Resident Teaching Artist and Project Coordinator for George Street Playhouse Education. A director and performer with degrees in Theatre Arts and English from Douglass College at Rutgers University, Annie works with educators and students across the state of New Jersey, leading humanities-based programs that create original plays and musicals. Annie leads professional development for all residency programs,  mentors Teaching Artists, and is a specialist in digital arts integration, devised theatre, and STEAM-based learning. She has had the privilege of performing on several national tours, including The Wizard of Oz (Dorothy), Laura Ingalls Wilder (Laura), and The Berenstain Bears, Live! (Grandma Bear/Silly Goose.) Annie was hired as an actor on the GSP Educational Tour in 2010, and has been with George Street ever since.
