New Brunswick theater team creates comedy play set to stream starting Tuesday
How do you put on a play when a theater is closed? New Brunswick-based George Street Playhouse found a way to keep it all in the family and produce a comedy that will be available for streaming.
The play "Bad Dates," which was written by Theresa Rebeck, is a solo show about a divorced woman struggling to find a new love. The creative team of actress, director and cinematographer consists of a husband and wife duo along with their teenage son.
Andréa Burns is married to theater director Peter Flynn and their son Hudson is the cinematographer.
