Ticket Exchanges
Subscribers may exchange their tickets at any time to another performance of the same play.  Please keep in mind that an upgrade charge may apply.

Additional Ticket Discount
Subscribers receive 15% off regular single ticket purchases for friends, family and associates.

Hassle-Free Ticket Replacement
If your tickets are lost or stolen, simply call the Box Office to have them replaced

Early Renewal
Subscribers are the first to find out about next season and receive subscriber-exclusive discounts each year.  Lock in seats you like, or be first in line for upgrades

Automatic Renewal Option
Check the appropriate box on your renewal form in March, and never worry about remembering to renew again.  It’s the lowest subscription price each year!

Discounts on Theatre Classes 
Subscribers receive a 10% discount on acting, auditioning and scene study classes offered for both children and adults.  

Ticket Donations
If you are unable to use or exchange your tickets please donate them back to the Playhouse.  If we receive notification of your donation at least 24 hours prior to the performance we will be happy to provide you with a donation acknowledgement letter for your tax records.  

How to Exchange a Ticket
We realize that unexpected events can make it impossible to attend your scheduled performance.  Your subscription tickets may be exchanged for another performance of the same show.   You may exchange by phone, fax, mail or in person at the Box Office.

Please note that an upgrade charge may apply when exchanging into a different performance day (i.e. Tuesday to Friday).

  • By Phone:  Please have your tickets in hand when you call, as the operator will ask you to read the reference number that is printed on your ticket.  This security feature will identify the holder so you may receive the proper credit. 
  • By Mail:  Mail in your original tickets to the Playhouse (P.O. Box 194, New Brunswick, NJ 08903) along with a written exchange request that indicates the performance date and time you wish to exchange your tickets for and any other special requests. We recommend that you call the Box Office to check ticket availability and any possible upgrade charges.

    When exchanging by mail, if you wish us to mail you the new tickets, please enclose a self-addressed, stamped envelope with your order. 
  • In Person:  Please bring the tickets you wish to exchange to the box office window during regular business hours.  We are unable to process exchanges at the window during the half hour before a performance.
